My newest short story is titled “The Groundhog’s Shadow” and in case you were wondering–and I understand this–it does indeed prominently feature a groundhog in the plot. Oh no, not some window-dressing groundhog, but a central character.
There are of course stories from other writers in Grab Bag, and some pretty darn good ones, I think, including a creepy little dog, alien abduction, hero-types, villain-types, and a dragon with very peculiar hoarding instincts. Check it out.
