Prose

I’ve been writing stuff for a while. Let’s review.

Grab Bag Anthology #2

The Groundhog’s Shadow is my contribution to Grab Bag #2, which features a young couple and a burrowing intruder with a message.

Winter Solstice (2014)

A trippy 70’s adventure pitting NAZIs versus spies versus corporate robots versus college students. It’s 1979 and Bill Wehman and Philip Young want to party! Time-traveling ex-German scientist Dr. Lippoffe wants to change the world. Featuring gray Midwest days, CNS depressants, pyschedelic chemicals, police brutality, social ostracism, corporations run amuck and espionage for its own sake, well, it’s not unlike today.

Novel #2: #CrazyTomLives

Set in a not-too-distant future where things are different. Novel #2 is complete at 78,000 words and is looking for a forever publishing home. #CrazyTomLives is a coded placeholder for the real name. You’ll understand why we jokingly refer to it this way. You’re gonna love him.

Novel #3: #FelixLovesAgatha

#FelixLovesAgatha is the coded title for this project. Set in the far-flung future it’s way out there, man. I mean over the top. Am writing this one with hopes to have a first draft complete by year end.

Turkey Day Gratitude

A piece of flash fiction I wrote for Paper Djinn World last month, Turkey Day Gratitude is quick and comes with an amusing twist. Paper Djinn is out of print, but this story is now included in Grab Bag #1.
